Grandpa I will always remember you. May the fishing be great and the hunting be plentiful.

I'm very grateful that friendly, likeable Bert McCallum sold my husband a three-quarter ton truck with a camper on it AND at a rock bottom price we could afford. We and our 3 kids piled in and headed for Expo '86 in Vancouver. It was the most memorable trip I've had. We had different and unexpected adventures every time the truck broke down, which was regularly every other day. While waiting for a tow on the plains of Iowa we were entertained by a passing clown. While waiting for engine repairs in Thunder Bay the children were offered a ride in a locomotive engine. When the transmission dropped out of the truck in the main intersection of a Saskatchewan city we stayed one night in a motel with a waterslide and the kids thought they were in heaven. There are many more stories, but somehow we made it to Expo on schedule. The truck brought us home and never started again. I thank God and Bert for that amazing vacation.

We have been a friend for many years and neighbor on Treelawn. Bert always serviced my car and was always available to have a "chin wag" regardless of how busy he was. I taught most of his children in Aylmer.
Please accept our sympathy and regret that we won't be home for the visitation or service.
