Obituary of Cacilia Luckas

Luckas, Cäcilia Maria of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice, London on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Gerhard Luckas. Dear mother of Roland Luckas and wife Linda, Konrad Luckas, Dorothy Ferguson, Monica Themlitz and husband Rainer and the late Josef Luckas(2005). Loving grandmother of Roland, Ryan, Jenn, Jennifer, Sara, David, Amanda, Jessica and John. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers in Germany and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers. Born in Lautzkirchen Germany on November 23, 1932 daughter of the late Franz and Karoline (Ruffing) Schwartz. Cacilia came to Canada in 1967 and moved to Aylmer in 2007. She was a member of the St.Thomas German Canadian Club. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:00pm Wednesday. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on Thursday June 25 at 2:00 pm . Cremation to follow and interment of ashes in Queen of Peace Cemetery at a later date.
