Obituary of Isabel Frey
Isabel Frey passed gently from this life to the next on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer, after celebrating her 97th Easter. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, on May 5, 1917, she had lived in Aylmer since her marriage in 1945 to Herbert Frey, a fruit grower who died in 1995. She exemplified Christian love, grace, and peace to her children Esther Barnes, Anne Warder, John Frey, and Miriam Helsdon, and their spouses; to her grandchildren Philip, Rebecca, Carl, Patrick, Charlotte, Emily Anne, and Lydia; and to her great-grandchildren Jaden, Iassic, Liam, and Arya, as well as to her large extended family. As a teacher at Davenport Public School, an artist, seamstress, musician, volunteer, and Bible study leader, she joyfully served her Saviour, her church, and her community. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, April 17, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Her memorial service will be at 1 pm on Saturday, April 18, at the Aylmer Evangelical Missionary Church, 600 Talbot St., Aylmer, with visitation starting at noon. Donations to the Gideons or EMCC World Partners would be appreciated. kebbelfuneralhome.com
