Obituary of Lynnwood VanPatter

Van Patter, Donald Lynwood "Lyn" of Chartwell, Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, January 10, 2015 in his 79th year. Predeceased buy a son Paul Gregory VanPatter in 1958. Father of Donna VanPatter of Ottawa, Tracey Van Patter of White Rock, BC., Leslie Van Patter of Toronto. Also survived by a sister Virginia and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Comber, Ontario on May 18, 1936, son of Edith (Howse) VanPatter(1977) and Bruce VanPatter (former postmaster and druggist in Aylmer). Lyn was an OPP in the Hamilton area for a number of years. He collected antiques and donated a collection of lamps the the Aylmer-Malahide Museum.
