I would like to thank my Dad for the many hours we worked together renovating, treasure hunting, walking, talking and sharing each others insights, stories and observations of life. I am grateful for every single thing my father did to provide for our family of five. He was a very hard worker at work and at home. He was very proud of his family heritage and very passionate about antiques and loved to read about history. Ironically he had a large tool collection and did his best like the rest of us in the ways that he knew how. Last we spoke we talked about focusing on the good and positive we have done and provided in a life time...to say thanks for all the blessings in our lives. I'm happy my Dad is home and no longer dealing with health issues. He was far too busy a 'guy'...not to be driving his own set of wheels. Thank You Dad. I Love You...Tracey

Lyn was a fine gentleman as I saw him in childhood. From afar it seemed that a brain injury, stroke or PTSD divided his family and his presence drifted from us. I regret the loss of his fine and gentle manner. May he rest in peace and all who knew him remember the good days.

I would like to extend my condolences to Lynnwood's family at this sad time. My memory of your dad goes back to the 1960s when I met him at my grandmother Louise Van Patter's home south of Aylmer. I also recall meeting his sister Virginia too. I would have been a young teen back then but the memory came back when I heard of his passing this morning. It seemed like Aylmer held many happy memories for him and he liked to come back and visit. Sincerely, Linda (Van Patter) Charlton daughter of Lewis
