Schned, "Betty" Elizabeth of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2012 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Schned(1999). Loving mother of David Schned and wife Pat of London, Peter Schned and wife Mary of Toronto and Ernie Schned and wife Jennifer of St. Thomas. Loving grandmother of Erin(Brian), Michael(Sierra), Ryan, Kaitlyn, Megan and Emily. Great grandmother of Hannah. Also survived by a sister-in-law Gertie Croft, a brother-in-law Hans Schned(Renate) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother John Croft. Born in Hungary on April 30, 1924, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Karl) Croft. Betty was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
