What a blessing it was to have been in a relationship with Stan and Donna. Many found moments and memories. They were another set of parents to my brothers and myself. Stan taught us how to ski. Stan didn't seem to complain when we harvested lots of fish out of his waters. He made huge bonfires for us. Many found memories of going up to Stoney for recreation and work bees. Stan taught me what part of a shovel to hold unto. Stan even trusted me to mow his lawn when they were away. Which was not an easy thing for Stan to do. Stan wanted everything done a certain way. Stan did however get upset at me once. He had just purchased a boat. It was not functioning the way it should. Therefore Stan was a bit frustrated. He was determined to take us all sking anyway. I was spotting in the boat. He asked me if all things were ago. I said sure. The rope was not actually positioned well. When Stan hammered the throttle. The rope tangled itself around the light post and it subsequently broke. I would have been upset to if it happened to me. Thanks for all who you were to me Stan and Donna. I know you will be missed. You were both appreciated by many people. You will be missed but not forgotten. Until we meet again I will see you later.
