Mom, GG, and Grandma Kay to anyone, she enjoyed travelling to sporting events to cheer on the family and would be seen keeping track of the score. Supporting family was a core focus and Kay was generous with her time and attention, always finding opportunities to play games, listen to stories, sing along to the piano, or read books with the kids. Kay was a teacher before raising a family and had a knack for working educational details into playtime. Well-suited to a quiet, contented life on a farm, she also had a strong sense of community and a deep interest in health and well being. Kay was a proud distributor of Forever Living Products and believed everything healed better with Aloe Vera. A talented soloist, Kay got her gift for singing from her father and was taught to play piano by her mother. Proud alum of Beck Collegiate, she often recounted stories of glee clubs and musical productions like The Mikado and loved to listen to classical music.
