So very sorry to read of the passing of Kathleen Row. Sincere condolence to her children, Colleen, Arnold, Ann and Marilyn together with their respective spouses, so too the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her presence within each of your lives will be sorely missed. Cherish the wonderful memories you have of her, choosing to recognize that Kathleen's 'guiding light' will remain within each one of you--her cherished family members! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Love you Mom, Ann.
Your song has faded, soft and slow,
A tune once bright, now whispered low.
In echoes lost, we reach to find
The notes we treasure in our mind.
From memory true, we hear you cheer,
A voice that lingers, always near.
With sparkling eyes, you lit our way,
Through darkest night, to brightest day.
Now gone, your silence fills the air,
Yet love remains, forever there.
Our biggest fan, you've left your mark,
A guiding light when days grow dark.
Yet hope still hums, a gentle thread,
A warmth where silent steps are tread.
One day, your song will rise anew,
In thy sweet place where God holds you.

I have fond memories of many summer days spent with my Aunt Kathleen. There were birds to feed and eggs to gather, she'd let me carry out the slop bucket and dump it to the extra pigs. If I was careful, I was allowed to bring back the egg basket and help clean them up and put them in the spooky old basement. There was always laundry to start or hang out on the line. Also, there was cat food to make and deliver to several barns worth of cats (woo hoo! My favourite!). Next, I would sit in the kitchen while she prepared lunch. I would ask her question after question, and she would patiently answer me in her calm way. She would let me stir up the freshie before we packed up the men's break and took it to them in the field. Oh! The excitement of waiting for each tractor! Then it was back home for some more good old cleaning. Eventually she would shoo me out to go play so that she could get some actual work done. She always let me spend time with her if she had the time. She never hesitated to tell me to behave if I needed to be told. She was very smart and very wise. She taught me how much work a farm wife truly does. She also showed me WHY someone would do such acts of service for the love of her family. I have always felt a deep respect for my Aunt Kathleen and I feel honoured that she allowed me to spend so very much time with her.

Our sincere condolences to the Row family. I always felt a kindred spirit with Kathleen as we were both Harriestville girls that married Avon boys! Kathleen was always a gracious, wonderful and caring person.
Sincerely, Larry and Nancy Pigram.
