I’m sorry of the passing of Uncle Les. He was an awesome man and always had so many stories to tell. I remember 2. He said my mom and I were visiting one time when I was 2 and I had fell in the pool and he went in after me. The other story that stands out is he said my mom was little and fell to the ground from the Hay now in the barn and he picked her up and went racing in to the house to my grandma.

Les Shackleton was a well appreciated auctioneer in the communities around Aylmer. Growing up on a farm near Corinth, going to Shackleton auctions was a common experience, and very enjoyable. Rest in peace, Les.

May God bless you and keep your heart and soul praised and beloved Les. Our families will forever be a memorable lemon meringue pie or Keith Danbrook waiting for a chat. Toni buying more lamps or Karl Row telling how he worked the day I was born. Row family being cousins never knew Mary Shackleton (1950) but "Uncle"Les had stories of music and days come and passed. Thursday was a community event. Our daughter Raven-Tessa commented just recently go to the auction house. She's 5000 miles away and recently thinks of Springfield and Avon as home because 4 generations is a long time cousins. May comfort in your loss arrive with ease. May you remember fondly.
May you include loving kindness in your prayers. May God take Les home . Amen Say hi to Karl Row and Harold Les . I sure there's pie around somewhere!!
