Dear Ernest & family,
& greetings to Elsie’s siblings,
We’ve been distant relatives for most of our lives—I’m a cousin of Elsie’s—but have very pleasant memories of being neighbours in bygone years, of the special friend Elsie was to my Mom, of the inspiration your longtime mission work in Paraguay was to us and many others, and of the blessing Elsie and you were to my parents in their later years! I also treasure the good conversation I got to have with Elsie at another cousin’s celebration of life just a few years ago! We wish you a deep and abiding experience of God’s presence with you day by day! May his love and peace be a great comfort to you always!
