I WAS A HIGH SCHOOL FRIEND OF GERRY. I KNEW JOAN AS A RESULT. MY WIFE MET JOAN SHORTLY AFTER. OUR VISITS HAVE BEEN INFREQUENT BUT WE HAVE DESPERATELY TRIED TO STAY IN TOUCH THROUGH JONE. THIS LADY WILL BE A HUGE LOSS TO HER FAMILY AND TO US. LOVE TO ALL. FRAN & RON BOORMAN.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Buchner family. I met Joan through Jody back in the late 80's. Joan and Gerry were always very welcoming and kind every time I saw them. Lots of fond memories of just hanging out at their house with the entire family. You are all in my thoughts at this difficult time.

I knew Joan , by Jody , she was friendly kind hearted . When I see her for the 1st time it was for her granddaughters birthdays , I remember going down to her place with Jody . She was in her garden weeding . Her back yard was like a park . To her husband , and three beautiful daughters Jane Julie and Jody and family.
