Harms, John of Aylmer passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Monday, May 13, 2024 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Mary(Schultz) Harms. Dear father of Ashley Harms and Nancy Dueck(Terry). Grandfather of Megan, Bryan, Aaron and Karly. Brother of Diedrich(Judy), Abe(Anita) and Isaac(Lynne). Father-in-law of Rebekka Harms and brother-in-law of Eva Harms and Mary Anne Harms. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Barry Harms(2012) and brothers Neil Harms(2021) and Peter Harms(2022). Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 19, 1947, son of the late Johan and Elizabeth(Reimer) Harms. John worked at Ford Talbotville for 35 years and retired in 2007. In his retirement, he continued to work by driving dump truck. John and Mary enjoyed trips together in their RV, especially going north to Muskoka and south to Arizona. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
