Dear Nancy, Terry, Karly, Mrs Marie Harms, and all Harms family members,
Great pictures of your Dad...
John was/is such a wonderful man and human being who Loved the Lord with all of his heart. I am so indebted to him, fantastic friend, he had such a positive impact on my physical and spiritual life, from his leadership role of young people, Sunday school, bible studies, he always served with passion, compassion, love, most importantly with his sincere kind hearted smile, his legacy is profound beyond measure.
To state it reverentially, is to say it in the context of the Lord's prayer, he embodied the essence of the Lord's prayer representation, “so it may be on Earth as in Heaven.”
Today as you celebrate his life and say goodbye, may cherish memories cheer your heart and soul as you reflect on his abundant life as a Dad, Grandfather, Husband, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to all.
My sincere sympathy and deepest condolence to all.
May God’s kind-hearted spirit give you joy in sorrow, peace, grace, and much love on your journey of grieving.
R.I.P Mr John Harms, we’ll all miss you until we meet again.

Harms family, the best memory I have of John is from back in the 80's , when we first moved to Ontario. We were nervous, short on money and waiting for God to provide - and He did, through John. One morning we opened the door and there was a box of fruit ! He was a man of God and will be missed - but met again on the other shore!

Oh Mary and Nancy, how my heart hurts for you. My mind goes back to the year when we suffered along with Carl and Barry until they were called home. How I treasure the time I could spend with you, Mary, when I stayed at your house and we could share our tears and our stories. I pray that you will find comfort in the many friends that are praying for you. Thank you for the times you came to see me in Manitoba. John was always so positive and Mary and I had a special bond. Please know that I'm thinking of you and praying for comfort and peace. John has arrived and is celebrating with Barry, Carl, Frank and others who have gone before.

I have so many fond memories of you both, John and Mary. The years we spent together at Houghton Center Gospel in the youth Sunday school class and all of our youth group events, and especially the planning meetings...such good memories.
I'm particularly grateful for our reconnecting in the past two years. I so enjoyed being your weekend guest and have been looking forward to our upcoming weekend together.
When I think of John I think of joy.
My life is so much richer for having known him.
Mary, I rejoice with you in the 56 years you and John enjoyed together, and I grieve with you for our loss.
