Obituary of Steve Acre

It is with great sadness that the family of Steven Acre announce his sudden passing on April 21, 2024.  Steve was predeceased by his dear partner Eleanor (2007), father George (1971), mother Dorothy (2018), and brother Robert (2019).  Survived by brothers John (Julie), Butch (Julie), and nieces and nephews Allison, Michael, Alyssa and Tyler.

Steve was born in 1956 and was raised in the small village of Richmond, Ontario where he resided the majority of his life.  Steve had a passion for cars and the outdoors.  He enjoyed passing his knowledge down to others, teaching them how to take care of and repair things, especially related to vehicles.  He thoroughly enjoyed his yearly vacations in northern Ontario with family and friends and looked forward to the pre-trip preparations almost as much as the vacation itself.

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the golden retriever rescue program Golden Rescue, Richmond United Church, or charity of choice would be appreciated.  Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
