Obituary of Jacob Dyck

Dyck, Jacob at his residence on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Helen Dyck. Dear father of Herman Dyck(Lisa) of St. Thomas, Nancy McEown(late Gerry) of St. Thomas, Christine Peters(Dan) of Aylmer, Lynda Dyck of Aylmer and Jamie Dyck(Tori) of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Cody, Josh, Austin, Charisma, Emily, Lauryn, Liam and Audrey. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Justina Neufeld(Neil), Kathy Fehr(Abe), Anne Klassen(Henry), Nancy Redecop(Peter), brothers John Dyck(Justina) and David Dyck(Margaret) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Susan Cattling. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 9, 1949, son of the late David and Justina (Neufeld) Dyck. Jake loved to tell stories of his youth and growing up in Mexico. He was proud of the woodworking and carpentry he did with his Dad. Jake enjoyed tinkering on old cars. He had great appreciation for his work at Holland Hitch in Woodstock. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Lighthouse Gospel Church, Port Burwell on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Interment Aylmer Cemetery.
