Jacob was a dear friend of mine for 54 years.
I have a lot of fond memories of our friendship together, as teens and after we we got married and both had families.
In recent days as he was dealing with health issues, I had the privilege of visiting with him on a number of occasions.
We talked about the great times we shared together over the years, I will miss him.
But I’m so thankful that he excepted the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour, and he was looking forward to going home to be with his Lord.
