When I first started my apprenticeship back in 1977 Don was our crane and rigging supervisor at the Gulf Oil refinery in Mississauga. He was a pleasure to work with, always in a good mood. He taught me a lot. The odd time Don would jump in the 165 ton American and show us how it was done . My father Dale Housh worked with Don on different jobs and always spoke highly of him. Our condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure to work with Don in 1991-94 and will remember him as a good crane operator, strong union man and great all around person. I'll remember him fondly.
