My most heartfelt and warm condolences. Having spent many, many days at the Swartman house in Exeter with Chris, and always enjoying my visits in Hensall and Kippen, it is way too hard to think of one memory. I have so many wonderful ones. Legitimately almost like second parents at times. Bob sparked my interest in politics and undeniably my political philosophy has been shaped by he and Anita, and will continue to joyfully influence me for the rest of my life. Beyond wonderful, smart and engaging, Bob never treated us like kids, always like equals who just needed advice, guidance and sometimes a boot in the ass (true story and I am a better person for it). I will always cherish the few times I helped at the constituency office or just doing things without question during campaigns simply because Bob said I had to.
A legend of a human being whose equal certainly I will ever meet again.
Rest well in peace Bob, much love always, Boyle
