Obituary of Cynthia Benner

Benner, Cynthia of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Douglas “Earl” Benner for 38 years. She will be missed by her sister Karen Youcke(Jayson), niece Kelsey Youcke; brother Gary Long, niece Kristen Long; and nephew Joshua Schlyer. Dear sister-in-law of Bill Benner(Karen), nephews James, Andrew, Cody Benner; and Darlene McIntee(John), niece Tracy, nephews Scott and Wayne. Daughter-in-law of Iva Benner(late Doug). Predeceased by her sister Katherine Jean. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on June 16, 1955, daughter of the late Norman James and Beatrice(Fugard) Long. Cynthia loved to bake and watch baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The family kindly requests those who attend the visitation to wear Cynthia’s favourite colour purple in her memory, in an article of clothing or an accessory. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Dunboyne Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
