I met Tom at Otter Valley foods a few years back. He was certainly a character, and about the best Millwright/Machinist I ever met. We shared a few drinks and stories along the way. My heart goes out to the family. He loved music also and I hope he is enjoying a tune right now.

Our deepest sympathy to Ruth and family, Tom was without a doubt one of a kind. Gerry and him, like several others work hand in hand for the same causes and events. He will truly be missed. I bought two of his Tom turkey calls and still use them every spring. Every time his turkey calls are used in the future, his sounds will echo through the forests.

Tom was a major part of my childhood, and I will always remember the shenanigans that the Two Tom's got into. His affection and appreciation for nature and animals was core to the kind of person he was. I'll never forget holding his turkeys for him to take photos of in front of the tea room. It's a memory that makes me smile to this day.
