It was years ago but remember the joy Velma & Earl had slow dancing together throughout the house during family get togethers. Her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May she have that dance again. Kevin

I was sad to learn of Velma's passing. Velma was my valued secretary from 1962-1984,the formative years of my career. She was knowledgeable, resourceful and kept me on track.We became great friends.May she rest in peace.
Velma and I go back to my beginning days as a lawyer at Lerners in London. When I joined the firm in 1969 she was a senior secretary although she was not yet 40.Velma was always helpful in showing me the ropes in her quiet and efficient way. She and I kept in touch after she retired. Whenever we were together we enjoyed sharing stories of our days at Lerners.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I have many fond memories of my travels with Vel and our Eastern Star connection. My dear friend will be truly missed.
Farewell my dear friend, Vel. We spent many wonderful times together over almost 60 years, attending theatre, pool gatherings at your home and toasting to a New Year. Your cheerful smile and warm love will always be remembered.
You are now on a new journey in the loving arms of the Divine.
