Obituary of Donald Ingram
Ingram, Donald Foley Winnington of London and formerly of Aylmer passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the farm where he was born on John Wise Line, Aylmer on Sunday, April 12, 2020 in his 85th year. Dear father of Cheryl Quait(Ken) of London and Allan Ingram of Aylmer. Loving and proud grandfather of Brian Foley Mallia(Brittany) and Lynn Marie Mallia(Steffan). Great-grandfather to Sophia and Maximus(Katie). Born in Malahide Township on August 23, 1935, son of the late Foley and Ruby (Herries) Ingram. Don was a retired tobacco and potato farmer east of Luton for many years. He was a longtime Director and Chairman of the Board of Amtelecom. Don was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Church and Gideon Bibles Tillsonburg. He was a member of the Order of Good Cheer, Malahide Masonic Lodge #140 and the Tillsonburg Shrine Club. He served on the Tobacco Board, the Aylmer Cemetery Board and the Otter Dorchester Insurance Board and served as Past Chairman of the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA). Don was a past member of the Aylmer Kinsmen Club, K40 and the Malahide Fire Department. His flower beds and vegetable gardens at “Wee Lake Farms” were a show piece. Don enjoyed the great outdoors. Whether it was fishing at Long Point, hunting at Port Loring or his adventures in Florida in the winter, he truly loved being with his family and good friends. A private family funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Wednesday April 15 at 11 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
