I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Ingram was a wonderful friend to my parents, Joan and Grant Hart, especially my Father who admired and respected Mr. Ingram for the time they spent together. I have heard numerous stories about my Dad's experiences at Amtelecom as well as St. Pauls United church with Mr. Ingram and what a good friend and companion he was to my Father. I am sure he'll be missed. Rest in peace sir.

Cheryl, Allan and family..... although it has been many years since we have spent time with you all as a family, I did see your Dad at Uncle Mac's service and we had a good conversation. I fondly remember our many visits with my family-Ted, Dorothy, Monika and little Ted. Your Dad will always hold a special place in my heart. He was very kind to a young teenage girl, coming into a big family ...and I do remember the first time I met him, he made me feel like I belonged..... He was a good, kind gentle man and was instrumental in shaping my views of the world and how men should behave. We were all lucky to have known such a man. I send you all much love....Janina

I was so grateful to have such an amazing relationship with Uncle Don. I remember when I was in my early 30's, we had a spirited discussion on the state of the economy, social services and politics. I remembered that he teased me, as I was a young mom who had just graduated University, that as I got older I would become a little more 'blue'. Only a couple of months ago, we had another fabulous discussion on the state of Canada. I loved his depth of knowledge, while always open to hearing new ideas and perspectives. I will miss our 'discussions' as they always put a smile on my face. He was a great man, uncle and godfather. I am so going to miss him.

Dear Cheryl, Allan and family, we were saddened to hear about Don’s passing away. You will always be in our heart. It had been a blessing for us to have you forming part of our life.
I will always remember the Ingram family welcoming Liz and myself into your home. I remember Allan getting us up on Christmas Day at 4am to open the never ending Christmas presents. It went on till mid morning when everyone was so hungry. We would then take a break to eat and then back to the battlefield until the Christmas tree went bare. Thank you so much for all the precious moments.
To Allan, thankyou for having us at the farm to see Don for the last time and staying strong to help us through this difficult time. We are so proud of you. You, Cheryl and family will always be part of our family….and Jack too.

I was Don's Secretary for many years when he was President and CEO of Amtelecom Group Inc. We shared 15 years of working together as a team and I can cherish the friendship that we had. Just knowing him made my life a better world to live in.
Cheryl and Allan, I extend to you my deepest sympathy for his loss, but your gain is knowing what a wonderful man he was and will always be remembered to be.

We were sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have more than a few fond memories of the farm. I still remember the hand pump in the kitchen for washing up before meals when visiting your Grandparents .... my Uncle Foley & Aunt Ruby.
Your Dad was always at Family reunions long after they were gone. He was always pleasant & engaged in life & family.
Sounds like he was in a favorite spot at the end. We wish him well on his journey & I'm sure he will be missed.

He touched so many lives with his wisdom and kind heart and devotion to family and friends.
The stories posted over the coming days will be treasured by his family always
Dad has been fighting the good fight for a number of years with us by his side. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family and I could sense my grandparents there too supporting dads final breath in the house where dad was born and raised. Blessing to you all for sharing dads special gifts and his awesome accomplishments

Don was a great friend to the AYLMER - MALAHIDE Museum & Archives. Through his position at Amtelecom, he got financial support for a number of museum projects. They included: the establishment of the annual Swan Line in 1985; televising of our live auctions of items donated by many Aylmer businesses from the Old Town Hall; exhibits and the company’s financing for the research and publication on the history of Amtelecom by museum member, the late Barbara McKenna. Don was always a pleasure to work with over the years. My condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I will miss Don greatly. The Ingram family was always very kind and generous to me over all the years we've known each other, they welcomed me in just like one of the family, and treated me just like a son, and a brother. I will always remember the kinship we shared. To Al, I am your brother, and I will be there to support in any way I can.
