My deepest condolences to Marsha's family, You will be sadly missed. Marsha always had a big, beautiful smile on her face each day. Not only did she work hard, at her job, but also helped with the Ingersoll Skating Club Board as well, plus looking after family. I have wonderful memories of teaching Keegan skating, and working with Marsha. Forever grateful for knowing Marsha, and family. My thoughts are with you. Lots of Love, Penny McDougall xo

Rest Easy Marsha.. Spread your wings and soar with the best of them as you earned them.. Though taken too soon you will be a tough lady too forget & will be missed everyday.. You have left a footprint on this earth leaving behind big boots to fill.. You have and will be an inspiration, a role model to many now & in the generations to come.. It was a pleasure working with you through the St Thomas City Police, seeing you at the rink with the boys and teasing Sabryn at school that her mom always had extra sets of eyes watching every move she made.. Today is not goodbye my friend but see you later till we meet again ..

We are deeply saddened in Marsha's passing. We will never forget her. We give thanks for her community service and thank her for serving on the police force. Not only did Marsha inspire our children on the swim team years ago and treat them with great respect and encouragement, she grew up and became a fine police officer, respected by youth and adults of all ages.
She often shared her pride of her family and we enjoyed our visits immensely. We will miss her beautiful smile, she could make a day seem brighter just by having a few words with her.
In the passing of Tom's parents we will never forget the respect and honour she gave them, standing at attention at the four corners downtown Aylmer, directing traffic, saluting and giving an honourable farewell to them. What a fine and inspiring young woman Marsha was and her legacy will live on. May we add our deepest sympathies to Marsha's Mom, husband and sons, and all her family and dear friends. God bless you and keep you, peace to you. Tom & Linda Charlton

I first met Marsha when I was 7 years old. I was a little Brownie at the time. She was the kindest and most inspiring person even then. As time passed, my daughter met Marsha too. She was the first police officer she had ever met, and Marsha made her feel like the Police were her friends and not to be scared.
Most recently, we will never forget the kindness and concern Marsha had for our family two short years ago. She was on the scene when we lost my Dad, and took such wonderful care of my Mother and myself. She went far beyond the call of duty to make sure we were okay. Our Family will never forget you Marsha!
You've been an inspiration to every life you touched.
Love and prayers to the family.
May God Bless you all, and Rest in Peace Dear Marsha.
Sincerely,
Jennifer White

I remember when I worked for the St Thomas Police Service. I started a Kids ‘N Cops day camp for local kids and although Marsha worked in a neighbouring police service, when she heard about the day camp she was only too eager to help out.
Since that time we became friends and I always had a lot of respect for her and her commitment to policing and helping others. She’ll be deeply missed in the community. We need more coppers like her. She was such a sweet lady.

Marsha was one of the first community members I met upon moving back to Aylmer nearly 16 years ago. She was warm and welcoming and loved to help children. In fact I give her the credit for saving serious injuries to my newborn baby when I was in a terrible car accident, as her capable hands were the ones that safely put my car seat in that backseat of my car that was then demolished. I am very sad for her sudden passing, and send all my love to her family and children in this most terribly difficult time.
