Obituary of Budd McMaster

James Budrick (Budd) McMaster

December 25th, 1938-July 7th, 2019

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle Budd has passed away.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at London Health Sciences on Sunday, July 7th, 2019.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn (MacLeod), two daughters Angie McMaster(Bruce) and Lori Henderson-Gibbons(Gary), and four grandchildren Skyler Cowen, Owen Henderson, Luke Henderson and Mya Henderson.

Budd was born in Arthur, Ontario on December 25, 1938.  He was the son of the late Robert and Gladys(Wiltshire) McMaster.  He is also predeceased by his brother Bruce McMaster, sister-in-law Sandra McMaster, sister June McMaster, and son-in-law Aaron Henderson.

Budd owned and operated J.B. McMaster Foods Ltd. (Do-nut Caterers) from 1964-2005; along with his wife, Evelyn of 54 years.  He also was an active member of the community; over the years he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Aylmer Curling Club and Aylmer Lions Club.  In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with friends at Cy’s Bowling Alley, playing cards with friends and family and spending winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 6-9 p.m. and Friday 10-11am, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 am.  Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Aylmer Area Community Foundation or St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
