We would like to convey our deepest sympathy to you all. We had many wonderful conversations when she would stop in to visit at Sketchley’s when Rose & I worked together there. She lived a long active life and saw many changes, although she didn’t always think some of them were for the better, I loved her outlook on life. I have a couple of her tea towels with crochet on them which I treasure.

It is with deepest heart felt sympathy that I send this message. For many many years every time I met Rosina, I would call her sweetie. She would give me a sheepish little smile, mumble something under her breath then continue with whatever she was doing. It was our way of saying hello. Rosina was a lady anyone would be proud to call “mom”. You will be sadly missed by all.

I met Rosina when my mom lived at Terrace Lodge. We spoke often. She always had a positive attitude and a kind word for everyone. I recall her saying how lucky she was to live in such a great place where it was warm and she had enough to eat. I never met any of her family, but would like to pass along my condolences.

Dear Peter, David, Linda, Lori, Martin and families. I am deeply saddened to read of Rosina's death, albeit at the beautiful age of 100 years and 7 months. I'm so glad I was able to be a part of her 100th birthday party and can't express how delighted I was that she recognized me and clung to my hands in joy. I'll always remember her as our devoted "apple lady" for her labour of love in providing the fruits of her harvest for the Thanksgiving decorations and the Sunday School children's Christmas packages for many decades. I wish I had a photo of her in her rubber boots and headscarf, her uniform for when she would stop at the parsonage to drop them off. I even remember her stopping a couple of times to trim the church hedge because she didn't like the way it looked. She was one of a kind! We're "snowbirding" right now so I won't be able to attend her service in person but I'm confident that you know I'm there in spirit and will be thinking of all of you on Saturday. Much love, Kay and Don.
