Marie was a great and long-time friend of my Mother, Betty Lamb Thompson - both gals had six children. I got to know Marie in recent years as one of the regulars at the McDonald's 'coffee club'. Her smile and warmth were ever-present, as was her sense of fun and quick quips. Marie was proud of her family and spoke of them often. My heartfelt sympathy to Bill, a devoted husband, and to her family.

I send my deepest sympathy to all of Marie's family. During my high school years I worked for several people doing housework. Marie and her sister Mary were both people I loved to work for. Even after I was married and moved from Springfield to Aylmer Maire always stopped to chat a bit if we happen to run into each other. She was indeed a joy to be around. RIP sweet lady.

On behalf of Diane, Debbie and myself (Donna) we just wanted to send out our heartfelt condolences to you Judy and all your brothers and your families. Also to Bill and his family. We would like to extend sincere condolences to all family members and friends of Marie Henderson. What a rich and fulfilling life she must have led through all her years! Psalm 90:10 says that “the span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong.” So for Marie to live 91 years far surpasses what that scripture says, and although being a time of grief, that fact is truly a wonderful blessing to look back on! In the days ahead, you can be certain that soon, “death will be no more” on the earth (Revelation 21:4), and that millions who are asleep in the grave will again wake up by being resurrected back to life in the very near future! (John 5:28, 29a) May this future resurrection be something in which you and all who are grieving at this time can find comfort.

Bill and family. I was so very sad to hear that Marie has passed away. I have so many happy, and fun memories of my time with her as municipal clerks when we travelled together to various seminars and meetings throughout the province and also our yearly get togethers after retirement. We shared so much laughter together. She was a pleasure to know and will be greatly missed.
