Obituary of Gary Scrivens

Scrivens, Gary Douglas of Pt. Burwell passed away at Port Bruce on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Barb(Bleck) Scrivens. Loving step-father of Jeremy, Mike(Tanya), Robert(Sarah), P.J.(Jess), Wayne(Emily), Matthew(Victoria) and Elysia(Brad). Also survived by brothers Peter(Victoria) and Richard(Lisa), a sister Debbie, a sister-in-law Christine and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Born in London on September 22, 1952, dear son of Shirley (Such) Scrivens and the late Douglas Scrivens. Gary worked in construction at Bre-Ex for 40 years. In recent years, he devoted his time to supporting his family as restauranteurs. He was active in fundraising in Port Stanley, Port Bruce and Port Burwell. Gary was always there to lend a helping hand. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday December 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
