I only knew Gary & Barb through eating at The Wharf however, they were always so kind & friendly to us all - A few Christmas they hosted a Christmas dinner at The Wharf free for Seniors who were alone over the holidays - so appreciated this opportunity - so sorry to hear Gary has passed - Barb, my heartfelt condolences to you & your family

Dear Barb, Elyshia and family Chuck and I have only good memories of Gary. Meeting him on the streets of Port Stanley with our friend Barb. When we ate at the Wharf, he was always upbeat and happy to see us. This jovial attitude was present with all our times with Gary. He was passionate about organizing the first Pride Festival in Port Stanley and gave it his all. Just this summer we saw him at the Sandcastle in Port Bruce as he arrived. Again he was so friendly and giving. We remember him with love and compassion. We hope these words offer you some bit of peace. God Bless, Suzanne and Chuck

Rest peacefully Gary. Although yourself and Barb became friends through business, my work, I am grateful to be be able to call you friends. You never met my husband but when his factory closed Barb shared our situation with you and you offered help to us to try and get him employed again. You two were so helpful although he found work in a different direction. I appreciate the trust the two of you have had for me through the years. You've accomplished so much together over the years and I'm sure your family is proud and grateful. You may have left this earthly world but your smile your laugh and your words will live in the hearts and minds of all who knew you as they continue on. Gary.., I will never forget your smile and twinkle in your eyes when anyone approached you. I appreciated your demeaner as a boss and kindness and generousity as a friend. You were the hardest worker I ever witnessed. Even if you were sore with your back, you rarely let it slow you down. I loved when we got into conversations.
