Obituary of Liz Ball

Ball, Phoebe Elizabeth “Liz” of Harvest Retirement Residence, Tillsonburg  and formerly a longtime resident of Straffordville and Eden passed away peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late Robert Ball(2008). Dear mother Bonnie Ball(Frank) of R.R.#1, Straffordville and Bill Ball(Rosemary) of R.R.#1, Eden. Loving grandmother of Samantha(Jamie), Sabrina(Ron), Stephanie(Brent), Bobby(Brittany), Tristan(Nicole), Brett and great-grandmother of Zachary, Brianna, Chelsea, Ainsley, Ashlynn, Avery, Billy and Joseph. Predeceased by her sister Shirley Hicks.  Born in Tillsonburg Ontario on May 16, 1932 daughter of the late Orrie and Phoebe Simmons. Liz started married life as a school teacher at Rolph Street Public School in Tillsonburg. She lived on the farm at Maple Grove Line, Eden for 33 years and then to Third Street in Straffordville for 27 years. Liz loved music and the Piano was her passion. For a number of years she was choir leader and church organist. Friends may call at the  H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11:00 am.
