Well here I go Ruth-Ann, Bills boys and family.
Wow what a friend for many years, just over the phone lately.
To you boy's always remember how proud he was of you. I remember you little one coming into Dr. Casey's in Westmount.
What a hoot your Dad tought me how to drive not an easy task for him, I am going back to the 70's. Big guy on the bike watching over Westmount, always loved by all that lived and worked there. The gentle giant, he loved riding the "Hog".
I was blessed with a call recently from Bill, thanks Ruth-Ann, you gave him the grace and peace to move on.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you travel through a difficult day tomorrow. But alas as time goes may you feel the warmth and glow of fond memories to carry you on.
Bless all of you.
Just lost a good Buddy, no more pain, takie care of us, keep looking down as we will look up and remember you, a new angel in heaven.

On behalf of the St. Thomas Police Service, I offer our sincere condolences to all of you. Deputy Chief Kavanagh always saw the good in people and we can learn from his caring personality! It only seems like yesterday (1988) when he was interviewing me for a Cadet position.
Thank-you Ruth-Anne for reaching out to us when Bill was in the hospital so we had an opportunity to visit with him and share some great laughs/memories.
