I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Brooks, I am away from the country and could not make it to pay my respects. Bob was a long time friend of my father and feel for Mr. Brook's family and everyone in the Aylmer area for the loss of such a great person. Take care Todd

What a shock to read that Bob is gone. Rob was at our house the 18th and said his Dad was good. Bob did a lot of work, good work for our family. He was an old fashioned honest businessman who stood behind his work and the work of his employees. Emergency, no problem he would come. I personally had a lot of fun with Bob. He did the work and I did the fetching rather than he go up and down the stairs. I used to tell him "us little people have to stick together". He would chuckle get the job done. He was missed when he retired and missed more so now. Our condolences to the Brooks family.

Our sympathy to Nora and the family on Bob's passing. He was a gentle man. He hardly blinked when he found I had my 650 BSA motorcycle in the living room of the apartment we rented from him on Caverly in the early 70's.

So sorry to hear about the death of Bob. My father (Albert Anckaert) was telling me he used to come out to look after the tobacco kilns anytime, day or night, when the flames went out. There aren't too many business people around like that anymore. Sincerest sympathy.
