Obituary of Gordon Pearce

Pearce, Gordon at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in his 86th year. Dear father of Randall Pearce of Sydney Australia. Former husband of the late Donna Pearce. Predeceased by his sister Jean Markham. Born in Dereham Township on August 26, 1925 son of the late Ira and Flossie (Swance) Pearce. Gord was a member of the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association and a life member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was a longtime resident of Aylmer and worked for the Tobacco marketing Board as a grader. A Legion Funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
