Obituary of Ron Walker

Walker, Ron "It is with deep regret we announce the death of Rev. Ronald Alfred Walker in the presence of his devoted wife Anne (Searson), his wonderful sons James and Paula of Stratford and Doug and Lillian of Shedden and special angels Beatrice, Melody and Braden." He passed away at London Health Science Centre-University Hospital on Monday, September 20, 2010 in his 72nd year. Brother of Jim and Sheila Walker, Ray and Shirley Walker, Pete Walker, Pauline and Carl Chute. Brother-in-law of Betty and Bill Anderson, Joan and Bill Roberts, Mary Ethel and Ken Douglas and Roy and Deb Searson. Predeceased by a brother Howard and wife Donna Walker, sisters Helen and husband Alf Austin, Doris and husband Bill McGregor, Donna Walker, a sister-in-law Muriel Walker. Born in Silver Creek, Ontario on June 25, 1939 son of the late Ellis and Mildred (Kelley) Walker. Ron enjoyed his boat on Lake Erie and he was an avid gardener. He served as an Anglican priest at parishes in Byron, Florence, Bothwell, Aughrim, Thamesford, Lakeside and Aylmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 7-9, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 55 Southwick St., St. Thomas on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Orwell Cemetery.
