Dear Anne and family, Marilyn & myself are so sorry to learn of Ron's death and his battle with ALS. It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to get to know you folks when you lived in Thamesford/Lakeside. Ron was a warm and likeable fellow who loved his family and worked hard in serving his parish. He often talked about his boat and your life on Lake Erie. During his time in Thamesford, in the late 1980's, Ron provided tremendous support for my mother Janice and our family during the illness and eventual passing of my sister Amy Graham. Amy's funeral was beautifully handled by Ron and we are forever grateful to him. Although now more than 20 years have passed we have not forgotten Ron's kind and gentle manner and we send our deepest sympathies to his family now.

Anne: Our diocesan Email service has informed me, first of Ron's ALS decision, and, then, of his death. I have goof memories of Ron and his pastoral ministry in Aylmer. Faithfully, I pray: that Ron rests in peace, and that you and your family will continue to be strengthened by God's presence.

Dear Ann and family: It is with deepest sympathy that I send this message in the loss of your Ron. It seems like forever and I guess it is many years since we have seen or even heard from one another.We rather lost touch ,as many folks do. Ron was just beginning his ministry when you folks left Forest.Our boys Jimmy and Mike were in Toddle In Nursery together and Doug was just a toddler, as I remember. At any rate , I just had to send a memo. I joined the Eastern Star about 15 yrs ago, and only learned today that Ron had been a recipient from E.S.T.A.R.L. from our Grand Chapter submitted from Forest Chapter # 116.I am so happy to hear we were of some assistance for him along the way.We have many young and not so young recipients who have benefited from the scholarships. This yr.we awarded 34 folks an $1800 each bursary.Again, our deepest sympathy to you and the family, and God bless, Regards, Floyd , Pat and Michael Cable Forest. ,
