Obituary of Irene Laidlaw

Laidlaw, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Irene Phyllis Laidlaw of Aylmer in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Murray Laidlaw(2004). Dear sister-in-law of Keith Laidlaw, Marion Procunier and Muriel McCallum. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Ken White. Born in Toronto on August 20, 1922 daughter of the late Alfred and Edythe (Fagan) White. Irene was a dedicated member of St. Paul's United Church and the U.C.W. She had worked at Five Oaks Christian Centre at Paris and was a former board member of Pearce Williams Christian Centre. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:30 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
