Obituary of Stella Chalk
Chalk, peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, August 8, 2010. Stella Isabel Chalk of Aylmer in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Chalk(1990). Dear mother of Ernest Burns and wife Betty of Toronto, Ronald Burns and wife Joyce of Georgetown, David Chalk and friend Leslie Tanton of Aylmer and step-mother of Donald Chalk of Tillsonburg, Alan Chalk and wife Marilyn of Tillsonburg and Guy Chalk and wife Connie of London. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers Ernest and Frank and a sister Mabel. Born in Bolton Ontario on July 8, 1912 daughter of the late Victor and Gertrude (Fuller) Beamish. Stella enjoyed her many years as a librarian at the Aylmer Library. She was a member of the Aylmer Baptist Church, a member of the W.A. and a former deaconess of the Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Cam Watts, officiating. Donations to the Aylmer Baptist Church would be appreciated.
