Jackson, Charlie at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, February 19, 2010. Charles George Paul Jackson of Aylmer in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Jackson(2007). Dear father of Lynda Rawn of British Columbia, Brenda Hainer of Brockville, William Jackson of Cambridge, and Sandra Heslip and husband Joe of Barrie. Sister of Louise of B.C. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Vancouver British Columbia on August 29, 1928. Charlie was an active member and Past President of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He lived in Aylmer since 1967 and worked as a plumber. Charlie served in the Royal Canadian Air Force 31 Combat Engineers Regiment. He was a sergeant in the Elgins for 20 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
