My deepest sympathy to Charlie's Family. When my dad (the late DEnby Breen) was legion president you were always there helping out. Aylmer has lost a great man and he'll be miss not just at the legion but around town

Thanks for all the help you gave us "Charlie Brown" when we lived in Aylmer. You were always an inspiration when we were part of the Aylmer Legion. "God Bless You And Keep You Charlie".

Charlie well what can we say. His and Helen's faces were always a warm and welcoming sight at our branch in Aylmer. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and their stories. Through much cajoling on Charlie's part and much reluctance on mine he finally convinced me to be a member of the color party for our branch. He taught me to march and dip. What he gave me however was a special honor that I cherish - to be a member of the color party at Remembrance day services To this day I travel to Aylmer for Legion service and Levi and proudly remember my initiation and the honor that was so gently be bestowed on my by this funny, kind and charming man. We will miss him at the branch. For me always a Remembrance day never goes by when I do not hear Charlie telling us to left wheel and the congratulatory grin I got when I actually got it right!! Our memories of him and Helen are all smiles and laughter! Even our granddaughter knew who Charlie was and was proud that she knew just such a veteran. Thank you Charlie for helping me teach our grandkids the meaning of the word veteran!! He will be with us always. Cindy & Bruce
