Dear Murray and Charlie, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, I just found out today from my mom. Can you believe that I was just thinking about your mom the other day after all these years? I was thinking about how much neighborhoods have changed and how when we were kids we could play outside until all hours and go from neighbour to neighbour and not have to worry about some of the crazy things that are so rampant today. Your mom always kept a watchful eye out and let our parents know what and when we did things, which was a good thing, and because she cared about our safety too. My fondest memories are of having such wonderful neighbours as Murray and Helen Sweetman. I wish everyone could be so lucky. Your gardens in the backyard were always so lovely and I used to sneak off branches from the lilac trees because they were so beautiful. Your mom loved her african violets and I remember helping her with her spring cleanings and having to be so careful of those little flowers and her china tea cups and niknacs. Charlie you were truly blessed with loving parents, Murray, how wonderful to have a wife for 57 years! What an inspiration of love! Take care both of you. Sincerely, Sarah Phillips

Dear Charles, We were sad to receive your message today about your mother's death. We know it has been a long struggle for her and her family during her illness. Charles, I know that being an only child can be difficult, for you are the only child coping with this sadness. We hope that knowing that friends care deeply for you will give you strength to endure this special time in your life. We will be there Sunday afternoon for the visitation. If there is anything we can do to help, please do not hesitate to let us know. Take care Charles, you are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. Regards, Peter & Petrus.
