Joanna Margriet Van Deursen of Aylmer in her 77th year.
Beloved wife of the late Mathew Peter Van Deursen (May 18, 1990). Dear mother of John and wife Christine of Toronto, Peter and wife Kim of Aylmer, Paul and wife Wendy of Toronto, Mike and wife Jonni-Lyn of Aylmer, Henrietta and husband Garry Everett of St.Thomas, Corinne and partner Terry of St.Thomas, Anne of Toronto and Joanne and husband Morgan of Kitchener. Loved by her grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Katelyn, Ryan, Brent, Derek, Melissa, Kevin, Jason, Greg, Scott, Adam, Laura, Morgan, Cole, Adam, Daniel and Christianne. Sister of Jon and Beb Spruijt and Peter and Mathilde Spruijt all of Amsterdam. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Amsterdam The Netherlands on August 9, 1930, daughter of the late Piet and Henriek Cornilia (Baas) Spruijt. Joanna came to Canada on November 15, 1956. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and the Catholic Women�s League. She drove for Meals on Wheels and loved to play cards. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on 3-5 and 7-9 pm Wednesday.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 16, 2006 at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Aylmer. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Gilbert Simard, officiating.
