Obituary of Rudy Gheysen

Gheysen, Rudy of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Charlene (Maloney) Gheysen. Dear father of Lynnsey Gheysen - Murray(David) of Aylmer, Alissa Barons(Andrew) of Aylmer. Loving Papa of Liam, Ethan, and Harrison. Brother of Kathy, Brigette and the late Joseph. Born in St. Thomas on August 20, 1955, son of Dianna (Blondeel) Gheysen of London and William Gheysen(Arlie) of Vienna. Son-in-law of Gisele Maloney and the late Mike Maloney. Brother-in-law to Clare Maloney (Sue), Alan Maloney(Mary) and Jim Maloney(Laurie). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Rudy is the former Director of the Ontario Police College and Chief of Police of Aylmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 2 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows R.C.
