Obituary of Joseph Van Dyk

Van Dyk, at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Joseph Van Dyk of Aylmer in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Valerie (Mennie) Van Dyk. Dear father of Kenneth Van Dyk and his wife Kimberly of Bradford, Douglas Van Dyk and fiance Stephanie of London. Also survived by brothers John, Bert, Henry(Anna Marie), Tony(Phyllis), Leo(Dianne), Frank(Kathy), sisters Helen(Pete) and Tina and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jim and Pete, sisters Betty, Mary and Henrietta. Born in the Netherlands on March 12, 1946 son of the late Leo and Jo-Hanna (Lamers) Van Dyk. Joe was a retired separate school teacher. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus, the Columbus Club, the Order of Franciscan and East Elgin Youth Soccer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Joseph Nevett, officiating.
