Obituary of Wayne Lamoure

Lamoure, Wayne Clarence at London Health Science Centre-University Hospital on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Theresa Marie Lamoure. Dear father of Joel Lamoure and wife Susan of Aylmer and Matthew Lamoure of Aylmer. Loving Papa of Lindsay and Jocelyn. Brother of Wanda Smithers(Fred), Brenda Robbins(Allan), Bryon Lamoure(Kathy), Bev Priddle, Tammy Stobba(Ted). Brother-in-law to Barbara Payne(Arden), Shirley Lynn Dawely(Nathan), Joe Schnekenburger(Cheryl), Ruth Canning, Gail Anastassakis(Chris) and Darcy Pearson. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Tillsonburg on February 13, 1948 son of the late Norman and Dorothy (Carruthers) Lamoure. Wayne retired as Deputy Chief of the Aylmer Police after 28 years of service. He resumed active duty with the Elgin OPP. Wayne was a member of the Air Cadets Squadron 741, the Ontario Assoc. of Chiefs of Police, the Michigan/Ontario Identification Assoc., Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was a volunteer at Chateau Gardens and at Peacekeeper Park Lake Whittaker. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1:30 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
