Obituary of Edna MacIntyre

MacIntyre, Edna Maretta of Springfield passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 7, 2016 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Allan MacIntyre(1990). Dear mother of David MacIntyre(Sherrill) of St. Thomas, Bill MacIntyre(Sharon) of Springfield, Lois Lounsbury(Warren) of Port Rowan and Kevin MacIntyre(Lisa) of Port Stanley. Loving grandmother of Christine(Ian), Jeff (Becky), Chuck(Kelly), Tracy(Terry), Tanya(Darren), Terri-Anne(Mark), Dennis(Beth), Michael(Anjanette), Leanne(Francis), Taylor, Stephanie and Carley. Loved by 15 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by her great -granddaughter Cassidy, sister Gracey Purdy and brother Harold Leeson. Born in Springfield, Ontario on August 5, 1919, daughter of the late Tyler and Emma (Gracey) Leeson. Edna was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, Rebekah Lodge #168 Springfield and a school teacher. She taught at Avon, Harrietsville, Orwell, Mt Vernon and Trinity Public School. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery. Members of Arkess Rebekah will hold a memorial service on Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
