Sincere sympathies on the passing of a grand lady. It was a true pleasure to sing with Edna in the St. Thomas Sweet Adeline chorus. It took quite some time for her to convince me it was acceptable to address her by her first name because she was so highly respected. She was a lady who loved her family and loved life - truly a gift to all. It was an honour to have known her.

So sorry for your loss. Miss Edna was such a kind soul. We learned to appreciate her so much more as we got older. Mom would tell us about Sunday mornings, ladies meetings and service events where they would connect, laugh, reminisc. Such memories of Miss Gracey also, sharing with us when we were kids. Edna was a truly fine woman. I consider it a privilege to have known her. I am particularly going to miss our discussions about the Blue Jays. She sure knew her baseball! I can only imagine the joy in heaven when a host welcomed her there. I will miss her.

I am so sorry to hear of Edna's passing. My condolences to the entire MacIntyre family. I have many fond memories of playing at the MacIntyre's, just up the street from our house while growing up. The first colour TV - how thrilling to watch the NBC peacock I ever saw -- was in their living room. My Mom, Lahla, and Edna always talked about how they were the oldest ladies left in Springfield. My Mom always spoke highly of Edna. May your family find peace and and a smile in your memories at this time and that it may assist with your loss. My sincere condolences.

Our sincerest sympathy to Edna's family and many friends. I have very many childhood memories of spending time in the MacIntyre home where one felt like family. In early grades, Edna was my teacher at Martin's school.
