Hext, Birdie Lucille of Aylmer passed away at Caressant Care, Mary Bucke, St.Thomas on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in her 96 th year.Beloved wife of the late Jack Hext (1969). Dear mother of Mary Lou Eisel of Oil Springs, Kathryn Ford of Aylmer, John Hext of Red Deer, Alberta and Doug Hext (Christine) of Wyoming, Ontario. Loved by her grandchildren Deb Ford, Shannon Millier (Greg), Susan Eisel, Elizabeth Eisel and fiance Keith Gutcher and Barrett Hext. Great grandmother of Hayden and Alex. Predeceased by her brothers Frank, Jack and Bill Caverly and sisters Beatrice Neving and Kilmeny Milliken. Also survived by Aunt Daisy Cole, sister-in-law Laura Caverly and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Malahide Township, Ontario on February 27, 1921, daughter of the late John Sandford and Mary Rosina (Smith) Caverly. Birdie had lived in Sarnia and Aylmer retired from teaching in 1986. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer7-9 pm on Thursday, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 am.
