Obituary of Carrington Doug

Carrington, Douglas Wayne of R.R.6, Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of 40 years of Brenda (Van Patter) Carrington. Loving father of Tanya Hoover and husband John and Scott Carrington and grandfather of Brelayne all of R.R.6 Aylmer. Born in St. Thomas on September 9, 1949, dear son of Shirley (Deer) Carrington of St. Thomas and the late Robert "Scott" Carrington. Also survived by a brother Bob Carrington and wife Jan of Port Stanley, Sharon O'Neil of St. Thomas. Doug's greatest joy was his family and life at his home at Luton. He ran his mail route for Canada Post for 33 years. Doug was a gardener and a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4:30 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00 am. Private family interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
