Shocked to hear about Doug. I remember all the great information that he helped me with about the fruit trees I had in the back yard. He certainly enjoyed his time spent "in the dirt". He will be missed.

It was with great sadness that I read of Doug's passing Brenda. I first met this very fine man at Malahide United Church where he would so generously give of his time along with you to assist Karl Bowen by driving him to and from church, which enabled Karl to play the organ while I sang.Many good times are remembered by me and my husband Stan laughing and chatting over lunch after church was done with you Doug and Karl. Doug would assist Karl in organizing himself at the organ and you both made certain you delivered lunch to him before you took him back to the family farm.
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family Brenda. What a great loss for you all and what a wonderful experience it was for me to be able to know Doug and call you both friends!

I did not know Mr. Carrington but I know how hard it can be to lose a loved one in death so I wanted to say I am very sorry for your loss. The scripture that has given me comfort at times like this is the one found at Revelation 21:4 that says, "And he (speaking of God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So God has promised that in the very near future we will never have to experience the pain associated with death anymore. I pray that this gives the family some comfort during this difficult time.
